What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We have a minimum charge of one hour of labor plus a service/trip charge. We charge by the project based on the estimated amount of time it will take the service professional to complete the job.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We like to gather as much information about the service requested as possible. Photos of the area needing attention are very helpful and it is sometimes possible to give an general estimate without a visit. However, we can certainly schedule a time to have our service professional provide an expert consultation in order to provide you an accurate estimate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All of our service professionals have at least 5 years of experience in handyman services. Each has a knack for problem solving to help you reach your goals.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

The company was created in response to a growing need for skilled professionals to help with home service projects in the community. We all love what we do and it shows.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with customers of all types and budgets. We are here to help!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently helped a customer rehab an old storage shed. We removed the old siding, treated the area with pesticide, wrapped with tyvek and replaced with new siding. Customer was very pleased to have a like-new storage solution!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please be aware that you get what you pay for. Mr. Handyman may not offer the lowest price but what we do offer is peace of mind. We are licensed, insured and bonded and our service professionals are background checked. We arrive on time and take care of your needs. We back all of our work with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor.

If you consider the risk of hiring unlicensed, uninsured, unbonded laborers to save a little money, is it really worth it? We put your mind at ease and give you the peace of mind of a job done right the first time, guaranteed. Your home is one of your biggest investments and you should treat it as such.
