We are a family owned business. Dan has over 30 years experience. Why is that important? Because just like in a family, we believe that building and maintaining trust is one of the most important qualities in a business. When we take your job, we treat it like our own, and you will NEVER be just an account # in our database! We offer a free in home estimate, and once you chose us, we will work with you in order to find the right wood, stain and finish to meet your wishes! We want to make sure you're well informed and educated about the process from your choice in flooring and through every step of the job. I love it when I can sit down next to a potential customer and really help them to understand their choices and help them make the best decisions for them. I also love to see the drastic difference there always is before and after the job is done.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Upon receiving a request, I contact the customer and arrange a time to go measure the floor area being requested. I provide an estimate on the spot verbally, and then provide a written quote. If the customer choses us we select a date for the work to begin, a contract is provided and half down is collected. The other half is due upon completion of the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have over 20 years of experience and have also been educated in different products in order to better help their clients understand their choices.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Whichever company you choose, make sure they have liability insurance and ask for references of recent work. Also, remember that the cheapest product may end up costing a lot more in the long run.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Dan has been doing hardwood floor installation and refinishing for over 16 years. People trust him because he is thorough and honest. A family man, Dan and his partner Noemie, run Professional Flooring Solutions (formally known as Hardwood Floor Solutions, Inc) together. Dan & Noemie love to sit down with their clients and help them to achieve the look they've always dreamed of. Together they have 5 wonderful kids, a 24 year old daughter, 18 & 17 year old sons, a 16 year old daughter and 11 year old son. They also have 3 dogs, a 20 year old cat, and some other small animals. They are family & pet people and believe strongly that each customer should be treated with superior customer service and the best finished product possible. Noemie & Dan believe in teaching their children honesty and integrity in everything they do, and they teach by example.
