What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Come try a complimentary lesson first! Future lessons are $75 or $50 a person for 4 -6. We also offer group lessons and monthly dance socials to show off your new dance skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I prefer to start off talking to students about setting goals. Then, we learn the initial basic steps of the most widely used and versatile dances. Soon, turns and patterns that can easily be led and implemented with any partner are introduced.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I trained professionally at National Dance Studio and Fred Astaire Dance Studios.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been dancing all of my life. I began ballet, tap, jazz, and swing dancing as a child. at 18, I learned Cajun, country and line dance. At 23, ballroom became my passion! But I still love ALL kinds of dance!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with children and adults of all ages. Most have had little to no dance experience at all. Some, have been competitive dancers.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently, I worked with a groom who was preparing to learn his wedding dance. His bride was an established dancer and he wanted to surprise her with learning to dance. he led her through their wedding dance and throughout the night. It was spectacular!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone who is willing to work with you from where you are and help you reach your goals. Someone who will encourage you without making it too hard. It should be fun!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Consider what your dance goals are. Would you like to feel comfortable enough to ask others to dance? Are you interested in dancing with your partner? As a hobby? To increase intimacy or romance? Would you enjoy exercising in a fun way? Maybe, you want to impress others and meet new people. How many times a week would you like to learn and practice?
