What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We have a no-pressure approach. We come to your home, measure using laser technology so we can be as precise as possible, then go over as many or as few styles & colors as you’d like so that you can make an informed decision. We will leave you with a written estimate so that you can take your time and get back to us if you decide to move forward.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Over 20 years in the home improvement industry; from starting out as an installer to project management & new-hire training. I have a bit of OCD which works in my clients favor; I won’t consider a job completed until you’re 100% satisfied.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My wife and I purchased our first home back in 2020. We wanted to get new window treatments so we called around to get estimates. The first 2 quotes seemed a little high so we decided to keep searching. By the time I got through the 7th presentation (yes, I sat through 7 in-home sales presentations lol) I realized that purchasing new blinds/shades was extremely pricey! I’ve been in the home improvement space for most of my life, I just wasn’t familiar with this particular product. So I did extensive research and came to the conclusion that the average profit margin for this industry was far too high. We decided to start our own company and I’m now proud to say that we offer all styles at deeply discounted rates. I do all installations myself so I can guarantee quality & workmanship. It’s important for us to make the customer feel like we are there to educate them and not just sell them something.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently assisted an older couple that had just moved into a new property. There were no window covers at all so they placed an order and asked us to please expedite it. A majority of our products are customized so we can’t produce them overnight. But, later that same day we returned to the couples home and surprised them with temporary window shades so that they could enjoy privacy & protection from sunlight until their order arrived. They were overjoyed!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would say to always get more than one estimate. If you plan on scheduling a consultation with us please allow us to quote you last so that you can genuinely understand how competitive our pricing really is.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It really depends on their goals with this upgrade. Is it mainly for aesthetic reasons? Are you trying to block or preserve natural light? Is energy savings a priority? Would you prefer outward visibility while maintaining privacy? Is the company you’re considering selecting willing to provide references from previous clientele?
