Introduction

I began my experience while fostering dogs for non profits. I know how to handle dogs of all sizes ranging from baby pups to extra large dogs. I handle untrained dogs , trained dogs, as well as dogs with special needs. I am trained in canine CPR and have experience in all types of behavioral issues. I'm not just a dog walker, I'm a friend to your pups! To be able to take care of pets is satisfying because it doesn't feel like a job. It's something i love to do. Being able to take care of them while their owners are away is something that makes me happy- knowing the dogs won't be alone all day in the house waiting for their family to be back. Seeing them having a great time brings joy to the work I do .

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing differs for the size of dogs and weather I will be traveling to you or to a dog friendly park/hiking trail. I also do dog visits, which consists of going to let the dog out at your house for half an hour , and refill their bowl with food or water as needed, etc. During my walks/visits I will send the owner a status report daily of your pups having a good time. Poop bags, treats , and leash are provided if necessary!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To get the “ball rolling” I like to chat over the phone and discuss the schedule, discuss the any important information regarding the pups including medication or training regimes to follow, and names to get to know them and a possible meet and greet to get the doggos acquainted. If after you were a great fit, then the dog walking fun begins!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an Amazon driver and dog walk as a side job because I enjoy working with animals. I’m knowledgeable in canine CPR and have 6 years experience in dog sitting/walking.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started dog sitting when my family would leave out of town and I would stay with their pets. Moving to Los Angeles I saw a lot of shelters where there were dogs about to be killed in a couple days unless someone adopted , so I started to make a difference and foster dogs and train them basic commands to get them ready for adoption.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all types of customers from workaholics who have no time to spend with their pets , down to families who are just going out of town for a vacation.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My most recent experience was with a dog named javier. He was a 10 lb chihuahua mix who was so affectionate and clingy. Every time we go out for walks he would walk right by my side and if I would stop so would he. My love for him grew in just two weeks!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice to you is do what is best for your pet. You get what you pay for. Low price , low quality work. Make the right decision for your best friend and give your pup a best friend while you're away. They are your family and I will treat them that way!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about whether you'll be dropping off your dog or having the dog sitter come over. Plan out your days and hours you will be gone to make the process easier in organizing schedules. And think about the person you're about to trust your dog with. If the dog isn't comfortable with the person, then find someone whom your pet will love!
