Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Everyone gets the rock bottom, friends and family pricing. While our $600 window is high quality, we do have upgrades and options available to fit anyone's tastes and budget. We think it's ridiculous that companies are charging $1200, $1800, or $3000 per window. Please compare us to the competition before you make a purchase.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Five simple steps: 1. Schedule a no pressure, on site appointment. 2. Tell us about your window project and receive a free quote. 3. We'll measure and order your custom replacement windows. 4. When the windows arrive about six weeks later, we'll schedule your installation. 5. Our experienced window installers will carefully install your windows in a day or two.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
During the on site appointment, we'll explain the energy efficiency and other benefits of our replacement windows. In addition, we have handouts that will allow you to compare our windows to the competition on a point by point worksheet.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
While our company is relatively new, our sales reps and installers have been selling and installing windows in Raleigh and Wake County for a combined 50 years. So there's not much we haven't seen before. If you choose us for your window replacement job, we'll get it done right.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We've worked with hundreds of homeowners and installed thousands of windows in the greater Raleigh area. If your home was built in the '90s or '00s, and the original builder grade windows are getting foggy or not opening, we should talk. However, we can also install windows in rental houses, apartment complexes, and new construction homes. If you need a good window at a great price, please get in touch.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Get many quotes, and don't assume that high prices mean high quality.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Quiz your window sales rep with the following questions. Their answers may surprise you. They will really surprise us if they can beat our responses listed below. What is the new Energy Star climate zone for Wake County? (South Central) Is your window Energy Star compliant for our climate zone? (yes) What is the DP rating of your window? (DP 40+) What is the U value? (0.24) What is the solar heat gain? (0.21) Does your window use a metal or foam spacer between the panes of glass? (we use the foam super spacer for all our windows) What is the seal failure rate of metal spacers compared to super spacer? (10x) Does that mean windows with metal spacers are ten times more likely to leak, peel, get foggy, and need replacing? (yes) Do your windows come with a lifetime warranty, including glass breakage? (yes) Why are your windows so expensive? ($600, installed)
