Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our rates are based by the square footage for housekeeping and by the job for all other work. We provide a detailed pricing quote with each offer for services we make so that everyone has a clear understanding of the work to be completed and what the fees are covering. We do this to keep our customers well informed as well as to protect ourselves and clients.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We meet with all prospective clients in person or virtually to hear their desired outcome for their home. We then offer suggestions based on our professional experience and if everyone wishes to do so; we provide agreements to be signed which protect all parties. After this, we move forward with scheduling the work to begin.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our entire family has participated in all aspects of our services since the beginning. We put one of our parents through school for accounting, another family member graduated college with a degree in business and I (Tiffany) have spent hours researching information from code requirements to calling furniture makers to learn which products to use/stay away from for house keeping. I have attended countless business and networking meetings to learn the best ways in which to operate our company. At the end of the day, the most effective and meaningful education has been receiving feedback and interjections from customers. We have always put our customers' perspectives and desires at the forefront of our operational protocol which has made the most impact in our growth.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We wanted to be empowered to be available to our children. Working by someone else's ever changing or inflexible terms just wasn't going to allow us to be the parents we wanted to be so we jumped off the cliff and learned to fly on the way down, so to speak. Ten years later, we have one son graduated and our younger two aren't far behind; meanwhile, our businesses have expanded and grown to far beyond what we ever could have anticipated back in 2007.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Due to our variety of services, we have worked for people from all walks of life. Some who hardly speak to us at all, to those who follow us around their property, intensely critiquing our work. We are simply grateful to have been hired by each person who took a chance on us or who invested in us and our company by providing advise, referrals, feedback, etc.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Always, always, always seek to hire someone insured. Proper insurance coverage doesn't just protect you from theft, it also extends coverage to your property and personal items should something be damaged as a result of their presence.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
For housekeeping, customers should consider whether they're wanting their closets cleaned or for the professional to remain out of them & what the client's comfort levels are with essentially a stranger being in their home. For painting/Remodeling services, it is always helpful for customers to consider the functionality and practicality/resell value of their desires for their home/property.
