I offer quotes with flat-rate pricing. Additional requests beyond the scope of work are charged an hourly rate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to walk the space, take measurements and agree upon the scope of work. Email is preferred to ensure customers have a safe, documented record of communication as well as myself.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've organized home offices, streamlined and decluttered small to medium sized homes. I've done set design for videographers, film companies and advertising agencies. Large scale event experiences are in structuring traffic flow and completing set-ups. I also can construct and assert placement of standard elements like highboy tables and banners. 

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I noticed a knack for refreshing the appearance of rooms utilizing low cost solutions like thrift stores and flea markets. When I began working as a production assistant, I was asked to dress up a set that was drab and uneventful. The director liked the changes! I've been rearranging rooms ever since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with seniors who are oftentimes overrun with family pieces or who've held onto items with sentimental attachments. As a caregiver I've helped retrofit spaces and homes to accommodate medical supplies, devices and at-home care. I've been recommended and hired to set-up spaces for large scale events like the BET awards, The Grammys and Superbowl LVIII.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I converted the golf cart/3rd door garage area into a sewing room. It was fun to transform a garage into a workspace that also doubled as a woman cave. From start to finish the project took 2 weeks. One week was dedicated to painting/drying, decluttering and purchasing organizational items. The next week focused on requested changes by the homeowner and implementation.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be clear about what you are requesting and why. Clarity ensures efficient use of dollars. The "why" explains the motivation behind the project and helps to solidify the important stuff.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about your willingness to downsize the project or scale up the budget. Better to know what's financially feasible for the professional than to experience unneeded stress. Are you comfortable asking questions and keeping in touch with the professional? Is this day-to-day role better suited for an adult child or sibling? Ask if your sweat equity will mitigate costs. Be realistic about your willingness to assist. Determine if it makes a pricing difference. Are you are ready to purge and detach in order to accomplish the goal?
