Introduction

Please read before contacting: Welcome, here are a few details on how we operate. Our goal is to create an A+ for you, this is a process. -All artwork seen in the portfolio as past work are the rights of the artist and in some cases the owner. Any reproductions will need the written consent of Michael Beenenga of Artistic Gold Creative Concepts. -We do not bid on standard painting or general construction. -Some projects require a design fee. This is packaged as 4hrs of creative time. This means that you can tell me your concepts/ideas and I sketch them very quickly, to make sure that we are on the same page. Once you like the direction that the project is going, I can either spend more time to refine the sketch, or go from there and produce the estimate including materials and some possible start dates. *The creative block in non-refundable. When we establish the design and if there is still time available, then I use that extra time as a credit towards the project. -If you have a quick turnaround for your project, then depending on availability, I may not be the right fit for your project. I have a calendar of dates that I promise to clients. Sometimes the customer tells me that there is flexibility, which means I can adjust for new projects occasionally if there is a block of time already taken. How it works in most cases though is a new customer is scheduled in the next available time slot. -If you have a budget for your project, then great! We can create within the parameters of your budget (minimum of $500) If you do not have a budget, that is ok, however, the price of a project goes up with detail and the need for more materials. -Once design is approved and the estimate is approved for the overall project I require 25%, 35% or 50% down of the total-then, depending on the size of the project I require the full amount remaining on completion or broken up over the duration of the project, and the remaining due on completion. -I share most of my projects on social media and generally tag the business if it is for the business. -I do live painting events, however I do not do live caricature drawings. Thank you! Please continue reading if you are interested in moving forward! "Where concepts become reality!" If you have a creative thought and would like to see it come alive, we are your portal to making that happen. We specialize in fine art, murals, faux finish and custom painting on nearly any surface. "I have created art with a variety of different materials and have worked with many different customers over the years. Generally, I begin by finding out what your needs are, then after we discuss your vision, I sketch a rough draft of what you would like to create, then we move towards completion." -Artist, Michael Beenenga I am excited to see your project come alive! Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
In order to produce the best result for your project, I want to make sure I have heard all of your concepts, concerns and your expectations for your project. I like to reach out and communicate with you via text, call, email or zoom and make sure that I am a right fit for you and your project before any agreement is made. After, I hear about your project and you determine that you are happy with my skill and capabilities for your project, then I offer a design Consultation/Brainstorming Block of Time. The Consultation/Brainstorming Block of Time is 4 hours of design time and includes rough sketches and revisions as we communicate back and forth until we get the design you are happy with. If you need more time, then another block can be purchased. Once we have succeeded on the design and there is still time left over, then that time is credited towards the final project's overall invoice. When you are happy with the design then I can give the estimate, with materials and a timeline that you can expect the project to be completed by. I require 25% or 50% up front once you agree to the estimate. That percentage is determined by the size of the project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was asked throughout grade school and high school to draw pictures for friends and students. I started to discover that I could charge money to do this. Over time, throughout a lot of projects and by the grace of God I have developed a business sense along with the desire to create art the best that I possibly can. I still learn every project. My goal is to hear the customer’s needs for the project and take the steps to produce the A+ within our collaboration.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have had the pleasure to work with many different business owners and homeowners in Colorado and throughout the US.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently had an opportunity to work on a mural right outside of Fort Rucker in Alabama. What made this project so enjoyable for me was all of the people I met while I was painting it in the lobby of the Candlewood Suites. Most people I talked to, freely told me what the American flag meant to them.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice to a customer looking for a pro to create fine art, murals, decorative finishes or anything custom in the realm of art is: -See if the artist's style is desirable and professional looking for your project. -Are they willing to work/design your project within your budget? -Will they keep their word and be professional on site, whether in your home or your business? Showing up on time and communicate professionally while delivering a quality product.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is your process for getting started? Do you have a ball-park pricing tier? What is your turnaround? How far out are you booked/do you have a rush fee? Are you insured? Who owns the rights to the final work of art if I own the mural/canvas?
