Introduction

Hello Everyone, I’m Donny the painter/carpenter! I was a carpenter for 10 years and am by definition a master. But I love to paint. And I’ve done great work for Foothills Painting, Certa Pros Vivax Pros, M&E Painting and Colorado Painting and remodeling Pros, to list a few. I will beat the big marketing painting companies price by $500-$1000 or more, show Me an estimate and I’ll beat it! I match warranty and guarantee My work. In 10 years I have never had one call back or complaint about quality of work! The customer is always right. So if You’re not happy I will do it again or fix it! I have countless references upon request. I am insured and I love what I do and take the utmost pride in doing it.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer competitive pricing! We will beat any estimate from Certa Pros, Vivax Pros, Foothills Painting, M&E Painting or Colorado painting and remodeling Pros! I’ve done and sometimes do subcontracts for those Companies so You get the same guy but better pricing because *******************.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically We like to meet in person. That way the customer has a chance to point out any concerns they have or ask any questions. I will ask questions about what the over all goals are and We talk about the options available to achieve the customers goals. I’ve been doing this for 15 years and I know what other companies are charging so I feel pretty confident in giving a rough estimate from detailed pictures. I don’t want to be the cheapest company being that My work is top tier craftsmanship. And I don’t want to be the most expensive company either because I like to incentivize customers to choose Us instead of the bigger companies.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’ve been doing construction since I was a kid. My brothers all own or operate contractors companies and I spent My life growing up working with them and Our Dad. Some dads took their children fishing and camping and Our Dad spent His time with Us doing work around the house and restaurants He owned. I’ve ran steel fabrication shops and machines. But for the most part of My 40 years I’ve been on a job site. I read about products and study other tradesmen crafts and try to figure out the best way to do the job.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I stared painting in the industrial complex spraying epoxy and oil base products. I moved from there and dabbled in automotive paint. And from there into residential and commercial painting projects.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked on projects the were trailer homes to multi million dollar homes and I treat everyone the same and give everyone the same quality. I have to do it right or I don’t really want to do it.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I take the utmost pride in every one of My projects! A normal job takes from 3-5 days. Bigger jobs take about 2 weeks. This would include an apartment building or 10 plex.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I always suggest asking if a painter is using primer. Not primer and paint in one. These are two very different products that have very different results. Also ask if they use life time caulking. It doesn’t make any sense to use anything but life time caulking outside because You’re paying more for labor then anything. And finally You can spend all the money You want on paint but it still going to fade over time and won’t look like it did the day You painted so really ask what their warranty is covering. My warranty covers workmanship. So if something fails low on the ground or on top of a house that sits in the snow and water a lot it’s My fault and I will fix it. These are alway the problem areas and need extra attention! Primer and life time caulking. I seal every crack and tiny hole so that water can’t get it and destroy from the inside out.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Think about budget. And longevity. Some products are cheaper and don’t last as long. Some are more expensive and last as long as some of the less expensive products. If there are repairs that need to be done try to budget for those. Putting paint on top of materials that need replaces will only get You by so long. But maybe that’s just long enough.
