Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Most sessions start at $299 and include a planning call, premium photo editing, and access to a full gallery. I also offer group rates for corporate headshot days or team photos. Everything is clear upfront — no surprise fees.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We start with a quick call to plan the session. On the shoot day, I guide you through posing, lighting, and expression — fast and painless. Afterward, you’ll get a gallery to choose your favorites and I’ll deliver polished edits you’ll actually love.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
’ve been a photographer for over 20 years and trained under some of the top creatives in the industry. I also studied with Jeremy Cowart, a leader in immersive and cinematic portrait techniques.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started out shooting for friends, comedians, and small business owners who hated being photographed — and I made them look amazing. That’s still my specialty.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with everyone from corporate executives and job seekers to comedians, artists, and full teams at local businesses. My job is to bring out your best — no matter who you are or what you need the photos for.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently did headshots for a corporate team that hadn’t updated their photos in years. Everyone left saying it was the easiest and most fun photo day they’d ever had. We shot 30 people in a few hours, and they loved the results.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don’t just look at the portfolio — make sure you’re hiring someone who makes you feel comfortable and knows how to direct people. A great photographer brings out real confidence and makes the experience enjoyable.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Think about how and where you’ll use these photos — is this for LinkedIn? A team website? Dating? The clearer your goal, the easier it is to design a shoot that gets the results you want.
