What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I already price jobs at the most affordable friendly price possible but I'm willing to negotiate price depending on the situation and labor time/cost.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We confirm job cost and than provide an ETA for when I can come over and complete said job. On occasion, we may need to set up an appointment if special keys, hardware or equipment is needed for the job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over five years of Auto Locksmith experience. I've even worked on some exotics such as Porsche and Maserati. I also have experience on various Residential Locksmith tasks. I don't specialize in Commercial Locksmith but I do have experience on light commercial tasks.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

A friend brought me into this field many years ago and I've been hooked ever since!

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with customers from all walks of life. This has been my most favorite part of the job!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I replaced all the locks for a sweet old lady who lives very remote in Ball Ground, GA. It was cool to be that far out in the mountains, saw three bears on my way to her property lol It felt really good being able to help her. The prior locksmith she had contracted turned out to be the same guy who broke into her home... Needless to say, hes in jail now.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please make sure you hire a reputable locksmith. If the locksmith feels shady, he or she probably is.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

For auto: Have the year, make and model of the vehicle handy and the location of the vehicle if not at home. For residential: always helpful to have a picture of the lock that you are looking to have installed and/or replaced.
