Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I like to keep prices customized so once we get a date to sit down and chat, we can go over all the details!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I'd love to meet you at your home so we can go over all the details regarding your weekly meals, boutique catering, etc... and have a bite to eat while answering all of your burning questions! It's a really simple process and guaranteed to make your life so much easier.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I studied Culinary Arts & Baking/Patisserie at the Le Cordon Bleu Program in Chicago, IL and after I interned at Sans Souci, in Cleveland, OH. Over my time in Ohio, I've worked in a few fine dining, independently owned restaurants, before moving to Kentucky to teach Culinary Arts to the public, as well as kiddos! I've been a Personal Chef since 2015. This is my dream job.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've found my passion with helping others through food. After all, food is love! After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and my hubby being diagnosed (for the second time) with cancer, I realized that I wanted to help others get and stay healthy by cooking them meals that would promote healing and reduce inflammation.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All the clients I have helped have battled against some sort of allergy, disease, lifestyle change, etc... Every client has a very busy schedule and many have families that are going to so many afterschool activities so the idea of cooking a healthy meal is the last thing on their mind. I come once a week to your home, grocery shop, plan and cook for however many meals you want and put it in your fridge with reheating/cooking directions. I even do the dishes! Your kitchen will be clean and your fridge will be full. What's not to love?

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I had a couple who were looking to lose weight and improve their blood work. After just two months of cooking the bulk of their meals for them, they were pleased to report that they had lost 25 pounds between the two of them and their Dr. was very pleased with their progress!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
It's really important to find the right chef for you; someone who understands your goals, your family's lifestyle, and your taste preferences. I aim to always provide the highest quality meals and help you and your family have memorable experiences at the dinner table, without the fuss of cooking & cleaning. A Personal Chef, is just that. Personal.
