Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All potential clients will have an initial free consultation for any type of case. For Personal Injury cases If you hire a lawyer, he has to be paid for his time. Almost all personal injury lawyers work on a "contingency fee." That means the lawyer gets no fee for his work until you get paid. This kind of a fee allows you to hire a great lawyer without having to pay that lawyer upfront. Be sure you understand the fee before you hire a lawyer. For Criminal Cases I work on a flat fee basis.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The first thing I do with every new client is talk through their legal issues to make sure I understand their position. Following the consultation and the relevant paperwork I get to work on their case as soon as possible. I or a member of my staff will keep the client up to date on any developments as their case proceeds. A member of my staff is always available to answer questions.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Speak to several attorneys before deciding on one. Choosing an attorney based on price may end up costing you more money in the long road. When you or a loved one is accused of a crime, your freedom is on the line and nothing is more important than that. I take great pride in recognizing what at's risk and giving your case the individual attention it deserves.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
For Personal Injury cases, most cases settle without going to trial, some cases do not even need a lawsuit to be settled. A lawyer can sometimes get the important information to the insurance company for the defendant and settle the case without the need to file a lawsuit. This is often faster and less expensive.
