Introduction

***UPDATE*** I'm now offering Yoga & Wellness online. Ask me about Private Virtual Sessions for you or your remote teams! It's an ideal stress-relief outlet, great way to feel connected despite the distance and a doctor recommended way to manage anxiety during these challenging times. I'd be happy to offer a discount for on-going classes, just reach out! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* I enjoy helping others live their most optimal lives! I became a certified yoga instructor in 2014, but my personal practice began over 25 years ago. I adjust my teaching to meet you at your level regardless of your experience. I structure sequences to make yoga accessible, and I love to breakdown the anatomy and function behind postures! I work with advanced practitioners and newbies to fine-tune subtle body awareness. I want to help you balance building strength and flexibility through functional movement. I'll introduce you to proper breathing techniques to de-stress and increase energy levels. I continue to expand my understanding of the body through ongoing training. I’m currently focused on myofascial release (self-massage techniques), injury prevention and tailoring programs to meet your needs. I'm a big fan of doing yoga outdoors, so if you’re curious about SUP yoga (aka Yoga on a Standup Paddleboard), ask me! Having worked in Corporate & start-ups, I know how to adjust for teaching busy professionals! That's one of the things I love most about yoga, it can be done by anyone, anywhere and anytime ☺️

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Prices range depending on your location, duration (typically 60-90 minutes) and number of students per session. I provide class packages and group-session discounts!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I start with an initial consultation (15-20 min), so I can understand your goals and expectations. From there, we'll work together to create a customized program to match your needs. For multiple sessions, I encourage an open dialogue so we can adjust the practice to evolve as you do.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I'm currently a 500-hour certified Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. I completed my advanced teacher training with Jason Crandell in San Francisco, CA. My foundational training course was taken at CorePowerYoga in Berkeley, CA. I'm continually expanding my knowledge base and deepening my experience with on-going training and workshops. I recently participated in a myofascial release technique class by Tiffany Cruikshank and have also enjoyed learning about various breathing techniques which are especially helpful for managing stress. Certified by American Red Cross for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I focus on time-crunched busy professionals by providing efficient programs that cultivate better balance in life, so you can stress-less. I have kicked off company off-sites, set the tone for team strategy sessions and worked with corporate teams so they can focus on the task at hand. I help clients interested in: - Gaining mobility for functional movement - Tools to cope with stress & anxiety - Flexibility - Chronic pain-relief - Weight management - Injury rehabilitation & preventive measures - Improving overall physical & mental health - Meditation & Pranayama (breathing exercises) I've taught people ranging in abilities from - Wheelchair bound - Blind participants - Prenatal / Postnatal - Recovering from injury I have experience working with varying skill levels, including those brand new to yoga as well as advanced practicioners looking to up-level their practice.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure they are certified yoga teachers and knowledgeable about anatomy, alignment and willing to meet you at your skill-level. It's important the attention is all about YOU! This is your time and your personalized practice - they should understand everyone's body will look different in each pose. Find someone that's patient, compassionate and always continuing their education :)
