Highly versatile engagement, wedding, event, real estate, portrait, and commercial photographer. Specializing in HDR, 35mm and 120mm film photography for a timeless yet, unique look and feel. I mostly enjoy being able to capture beautiful moments shared between friends, family and lovers. Candid moments are my favorite, and often times my clients as well.

Queer friendly. By day, I’m a graduate-level couples counselor-in-training, so I’ll probably prompt you with connective questions 🥰 Being in front of a camera can an emotional and anxiety provoking experience! I work hard to make you feel comfortable and genuine. It’s springtime in Montana, y’all! Capitalize on our brief green season :) I offer free 15-minute consultations through my portfolio site. Please read below about my approach and philosophy as a photographer! Although I’m happy to provide guidance and recommendations, I see a photoshoot as a highly collaborative creative endeavor between me and you. Come to me with your visions. We can make it come to life together! And if you don’t have a vision, that’s okay too - I’m here to help tease it out with you. If you “don’t like being photographed”, you’re not alone, and you’ve come to the right place. It’s vulnerable to be in front of the camera, where you’re asking me to ‘see’ you, and to capture you the way you want to be seen. I don’t take that job lightly. I aim to ease the tensions and connect with you so that you feel as natural and comfortable as possible. I’ve got a diverse portfolio - from business’ website promotional photos (clothing lines, self-care brands, welding, etc.), real estate properties, couples/engagement announcements, save-the-dates, surprise proposals, family holiday cards, small weddings, corporate parties, graduation shoots, and individual creative projects - I’m so grateful that my hobby takes me into such fun and unique spaces with people…try me! I focus on natural light and natural emotion. I don't shoot in a studio or with a flash. My studio is everywhere, and I love playing with natural light. My prices are intentionally more affordable than most. Your photographer fees should not cause you financial stress. A photographer’s job is easy: Capture the spirit that is palpable on a photoshoot day. The industry is saturated with fancy shooting that I believe adds extraneous fabricated emotion. I shoot with my camera, equipped with a few different lenses. I aim to capture the emotion that’s already present, and I don’t charge an exorbitant fee for that. Although I will ensure we capture all the posed photos with all combinations of people you want captured, I consider myself more of a documentary photographer, and it’s so beautiful! I work with Adobe Lightroom for post-production to make sure the final product is sharp and clean cut as intended, and only send the best ones, to avoid cluttering your inbox. I provide a link to a downloadable Adobe Lightroom photo album within 2 weeks of your shoot, sooner for short/basic shoots. I've been a hobby photographer for about 8 years, and slowly started taking photos mostly for family and friends' special events. Jan. 2024 commenced my first year formalizing my practice with freelance work. I love being able to use my favorite hobby to bring joy to people, and so I'm here to work with all budgets to provide you with high quality photos of the special people and moments in your life.
