I have been working in international magazine publishing for 30 years and my passion is photography. I put photography on the back burner for the last few years but I am now back to booking shoots. Working with magazines has allowed me to develop an eye for photography and I love to create dreamy photographs. Making sure that my clients feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera is very important to me and my sessions are centered around body positivity, kindness, and a sense of humor. If I have availability, I will work on a sliding scale with clients who are not able to afford my full rates.

My ability to instantly connect with people makes my work stand out from the crowd. Technically my work is consistant, which is important to clients. You need to know that a photographer is going to be able to do the job. More importantly, my subjects are instantly at ease because they trust me because of my personality, my professionalism and my experience. What clients am I looking for? Portrait clients - My portrait clients include both individuals and businesses. Portraits can be taken in-studio here in Dilworth at my studio or on-location at a location that works best for the client and the shoot's needs. I do portraits for social media, websites, gifts, home decor use. Those genres include business, individuals, couples, families, maternity, boudoir, senior portraits, graduation and model portfolios. Event clients - I mostly work with corporations and businesses for events. Sorry I don't offer wedding photography. There are tons of great wedding photographers out there. I just don't have the time to commit to it. Photography is so diverse. Each day brings new clients with new challenges, but also new opportunities to meet people and learn about what they do. And create imagery that reflects who they are. The majority of people I meet and work with express some sort of doubt about "being photogenic". And the opportunity to prove them wrong is a challenge I gladly accept.

It is one of the fastest growing cities in the country and rightfully so and there much to offer here. Chances are you are new to the area...and if you are then first of all welcome! Secondly- you will see why many people love this city after visiting & exploring around the different neighborhoods and areas of Charlotte! I can definitely recommend some great places to eat + drink, things to do, and explore later on if you'd like! As far as personality, I have a causal & relaxed demeanor about myself. Friends and Family would describe me as warm, down to earth and positive + optimistic. I like lot of laughs and most likely you will catch me laughing or having fun during our photoshoot together. I love the interaction - so do expect me to collaborate with you and have a good time if we work together. I love everything and anything outdoors related (exploring new parks, kayaking, or just being out on a beach/lake house). If I can go anywhere right now as a destination it would be somewhere tropical since I like being around nature, sand, ocean and warm weather! I enjoy trying new restaurants and foods + drink options within Charlotte or wherever I end up traveling to. Korean BBQ and Vietnamese Cuisine are some of my top favorites but that can change as I'm always open to new recommendations and my taste palate changes from time to time! My all time favorite movie I can watch over and over again would be The Mummy with Brendan Fraser & Rachel Weisz. I'm always open for a good show to watch or binge on Netflix so im open to suggestions! If I am not doing that then I'm most likely spending quality time with friends & family or at home hanging out with my white and tan Chihuahua puppy named Rabbit who is 4 years old. He was named rabbit because when i got him I thought he looked exactly like a bunny rabbit being so little with big bunny like ears. He has high energy and has a loving personality and is super needy.... Did i mention needy? LOL... What makes me most happy as a photographer is creating an inviting, warm and fun photography experience while capturing those special moments through photos for everyone. I want to leave a great lasting impression in such a way that I turn the narrative of taking photos feeling like a chore for families to ... That was so much fun! - I want to book/take photos next time again with Nick! 📸 ABOUT MY PHOTOGRAPHY CAREER: For as long as I can remember I took interest in cameras and taking photos. I would be the one in the family that volunteered to take photos of everybody during the holidays or events! But my photography career really started in April 2020 when i decided to go all in on this passion of mine and it was one of the best decisions that I've made because I really love what i do and get so much enjoyment out of capturing special moments for people and events through my camera lens. If you are looking for a “Picasso” of Photography (meaning master or expert) then we are most likely not the best fit (which is okay)!
