Introduction

Piano lessons are designed for fun and for low stress. I have taught piano for approximately 25 years in Laramie, WY and Colorado Springs, CO. I teach with emphasis on reading music, counting, theory, and history and how to have fun playing the piano. Lessons are scheduled for once a week (more if needed) and run 60 minutes. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Tuition is a prorated fee paid on a monthly basis upon receipt of billing statement. 60 minutes weekly lesson, $30.0 per lesson. There are approximately 32/34 lessons during the school year multiplied by the weekly fee and divided by 9 months. Summer Lessons are encouraged.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I meet with the prospective client to discuss their wishes to learn piano and perhaps have a lesson to determine skill set.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have played since I was a child. Classwork through University of Wyoming and University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, CO

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Because of my love of music. To share my love with those interested in learning piano.

Children, teenagers, adults.

I am always fond of letting the student know that they are not in project alone. I encourage group lessons, duet performance,

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure to meet with the provider to introduce the prospective student and goals. It is always advisable that the student have an acoustic piano or keyboard.
