Introduction
Welcome! I offer a unique Board & Train program from the comfort of my home. My passion is creating healthy relationships between owners and their dogs. An owner’s relationship with their dog should be a joyful ever-growing bond; not a constant source of stress. Your dog will be taught to understand what behaviors are and aren't acceptable. The program includes not one but 3 hours of training per day for your pup over a 10 or 14-day period. The number of the days will depend on your dog's needs when we speak. Your dog will be away from home, accompanied and well provided for. What’s unique about my Board & Train program? • I’ll truly have time to train your dog as a maximum of 2 dogs are admitted at a time. Each dog is trained individually. • Your pup will have the comfort of being in a residence, not a training facility. • Indoor training is done in a real home where many real-life misbehaviors occur. For example, clothing and the couch are not to be eaten, guests are not to be lunged at, food on the counter is off limits, and so on. • Outdoor training for things such as leash-pulling, not being agressive toward other dogs, sitting for crosswalks, and so on are done in large park areas and a residential neighborhood. • Puppies under 4 months old can be admitted (which is not allowed in commercial facilities) • Most of my training doesn't include treats. Your pup will behave because it sees you as the leader, not because it expects treats. When your dog returns home, there's 4 hours of private lessons included at your home, to learn how to reinforce your dog's good behavior and prevent backsliding to old behaviors. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
