Introduction

Hi 👋, I'd love to help you create balance in your life through the practice of yoga. My role is to be both your listener and guide. You will tell me what your body needs and I'll build a practice in support of your goals. My intention is to hold space for you to care for your body and get to know it better. I specialize restorative yoga, yoga nidra, prenatal yoga, and guided meditation. I bring my educated and personal understanding of these practices to my work with you. I have experience offering yoga and meditation to trauma and mental health populations. I have the experience of practicing yoga in effort to reduce the discomfort of living with autoimmune condition (specifically CIDP). I hope to meet you soon!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My prices are based on hour long sessions. I am willing to provide discounted rates for packages of sessions.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Before we have our first session, I'll send you a questionnaire to learn about your body and what you want to get out of our time together. Our first session will begin with a 10 minute conversation following up on your answers in the questionnaire and then we'll get into the practice. After each session, I'll send you a follow up note about what we covered and ask if there is a particular focus you want to have for the next session. It is my goal for each session to build upon the last - this will mean different things for different people.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I initially connected with yoga as a movement modality compatible with my urban lifestyle. I drew closer to my practice when I faced health challenges. My restorative yoga, breath, and meditation practice enabled me to access optimism and self compassion in order to lovingly care for my body amidst the discomfort and confusion. Yoga’s teachings in the sutras and upanishads gave me a road map for courageously going inward and understanding how I identified with the different layers and aspects of her being. After nearly a decade, my health steadily improved and the practices of visualization, movement, breath, reflection, and rest, continue to enrich my life in unexpected ways. I am passionate about yoga because of the transformation I've experienced with it in my own life. It has made me a more compassionate being and brought me great joy!
