Hi, I'm Caroline Joseph.
HEALTH COACHING IS MY PURPOSE. YOGA AND MOVEMENT ARE MY MEDICINE.
I’m a triple certified holistic and integrative nutrition, health, and wellness coach and a certified yoga instructor living in beautifully chaotic New York City with my dog, Finn.
Here are some of the things I realized through the process of healing myself holistically from an autoimmune condition and working with my clients:
- Customization: There is no one-size-fits-all approach to eating, health conditions, and wellness.
- Accountability: Sometimes we know what we should be doing, but we're just not doing it. (Work stress! Family priorities! Not enough hours in the day!)
- Information Overload: There is so much information out there that can be overwhelming and conflicting it can be confusing knowing where to start or what's true.
- Holistic Approach: Health is holistic and all-encompassing and includes so many different areas of our lives, including areas that may not be so obvious.
- Overcome Obstacles: With work and daily life, stress can overshadow taking care of our health.
- Sustained Change: Getting to the root cause of issues is the only way to create sustainable, long-term change. Quick fixes don't work.
- Goal Setting: We all have different goals, but we all want to feel great in our bodies and get there in a way that’s empowering, exciting, and enjoyable.
A Holistic and Integrative Nutrition, Health, and Wellness Coach is a guide who empowers you and provides ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness.

Yoga is a big impetus for change through creating mind-body awareness. So many of us allow the stress of our daily lives to consume us to the point that we ignore warning signs our bodies are telling us about our health, mental or physical, until an issue becomes a full blown problem. And too often we allow the conditioned mind to go unchecked and perpetuate unhealthy patterns that keep us stuck or not feeling our best. What we give our attention to is what grows and manifests. And often we’re not even aware of where our minds are time traveling to. It is only when we foster this self-awareness, coupled with desire, that true change and growth can happen in every aspect of our lives and our being - physical, mental, relational, emotional, spiritual, and environmental.
My specialties in yoga include vinyasa flow and core work, yin and restorative yoga, breath work, and meditation. I include modifications for accessibility, props, relaxation techniques, and aromatherapy when appropriate.
I work virtually and in person.
IMPORTANT: I work in person all year round in Manhattan and Brooklyn ONLY.
I also work in person between Southampton and Montauk ONLY between end of May through October.
My only exception for working in person outside of the above areas is large group events within driving distance from Manhattan and I need at least three days notice.
I do offer all of my services virtually.
I would love to be able to work with anyone from anywhere in person, but unfortunately that’s not possible.
If this logistical piece works for you, feel free to reach out! I’d love to work with you!
Also check out the FAQs for more details on this logistical piece, thanks!

Passionate about dance and drawn to the water, I find joy in embracing movement and connecting with nature. I strongly believe that children bring us into the present moment and should always be treated with the utmost respect as fellow human beings. While I love engaging in conversations, my cancer rising sign reminds me to maintain balance and take time to recharge. I have an unwavering commitment to offering help and being a compassionate friend to everyone I encounter.
As a 200-hour certified vinyasa yoga instructor with additional training exceeding 300 hours, I possess a diverse range of accreditations. My expertise extends to trauma-based yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, Yoga Nidra, and kids yoga. With my comprehensive skill set, I aim to create transformative experiences for my students on and off the mat.
For over two decades, I have maintained CPR, first aid, and AED certifications for both children and adults. Furthermore, I have completed mental health first aid courses that equip me to provide support to individuals from all walks of life. Alongside my dedication to wellness, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the esteemed University of Arizona.
Currently, I devote my time to teaching yoga, nurturing my passion project Wednesday's Child, an inclusive thrift store, and tending to The Original Witch Shop, a spiritual store. When I'm not actively pursuing my various endeavors, you'll often find me expanding my knowledge or exploring the great outdoors.
Known for my gentle and empathetic nature, I specialize in assisting others in finding their roots and establishing a strong foundation. I am eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to create meaningful experiences together. Let's connect and explore the possibilities soon.
