Introduction

Let's play with some cards! I've been reading tarot for over six years, and it is one of my favorite tools to bring to the table. Tarot can be used for introspection and finding perspective, and helps people move past obstacles or blocked thought patterns. It has been my pleasure to read for all sorts if people to help them get some advice from the universe at different points in their lives. I love it so much that I'm teaching a workshop with a rolling curriculum; if you know anyone interested in doing deeper introspection, send them my way! Reading for parties is always a blast; birthday parties, bachelorette parties, any events where people are coming together. There's always excitement with friends sharing readings, and learning about each other from a different framework. I book private readings with clients, remote or in person, and parties and events. I also teach yoga and workshops, run natal charts and do art with pretty rocks. If you've questions or thoughts about a set up, feel free to reach out!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I love working parties! But due to the nature of my services, I've never worked two parties that are the same. If you have a weird question or circumstance, let me know! I'm always happy to talk about it. I'm also always willing to work bundles, or discounts for multiple offerings.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I work in an intuitive business, but unfortunately, I'm not a mind reader. My biggest need from a client is figuring out exactly how I can best help you! Sometimes one of my offerings may fit you better, or a combination of a few things may be what you're looking for. Doing a tarot reading to get to the heart of your concern, then doing an intentioned crystal session afterwards may be what will help most, or it may be that a simple 3 card reading with some aromatherapy may be what the yogi ordered.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
You might say that I'm a professional dabbler. I'm a master clinical aromatherapist, have a few years of reading tarot under my belt, I teach chakra and essential oil workshops, I'm a 500 hour certified yoga teacher, and study astrology in my spare time. Such as it is. I love going to workshop and continuing to learn, so that I can better help my clients!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Helping people has always been my passion. Being from the south, I grew up learning to feed people to help heal them, and mix that with my curiosity for the esoteric... I took a yoga teacher training a few years ago after some personal trauma, and dove into the world of holistic healing. Being able to sit across a table from someone, lay out a few cards, and giving them the safety to tell me things and ask questions they may not be ready to admit to anyone else is an intense experience- I feel like I owe to my clients to bring them the most authentic and healing experience that I can provide.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with everyone! Women who want advice about relationships, insurance salesmen who want reiki, people going through life events... The whole spectrum! I like to think that I demystify the occult nature of my practice, and give my clients the confidence to ask questions and learn that Tarot and energy healing is not only valid, but useful!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I love working tarot parties! I get to see a handful of clients, and most of them are having a great time! One of the things that I think people underestimate is the amount of time that goes into a reading. Reiki is easier- we work with a clock. But doing a tarot card reading can be unpredictable, and working with a large group tends to stretch things out. A small party of 10 people can easily stretch to 2 or 3 hours, even giving small, simple readings. Usually a seven card spread can be a half hour, and celtic crosses can be close to 45 minutes. It depends on how deep we go, and what we discuss.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
This is an intuitive business, so go with your gut! Working with a provider that makes you feel safe and comfortable is so important in my line of work. It's easy to find someone who may not be authentic, and those are the practitioners that give everyone else a bad name. Try to find a provider that gives you a good feeling, that you feel that you can trust. I've sat in many readings with someone I've barely met, and they tell me some intimate details of their life, looking for guidance. I try to provide a safe, comfortable space for every one of my clients, and come from a space of zero judgments and nothing but compassion. It's so important to do your energetic work with someone who makes you feel supported!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I can recommend energy healing or tarot guidance to every person that I meet! However, one of the biggest things I feel like clients should consider is why they are seeking healing or guidance. At no point in my services can I give you a magic wand to fix everything, but what I strive to do is to help you to create or access the tools that you need for holistic wellness, with your body, mind and emotions- I can only be a facilitator. So the question I really think potential clients should consider is why they are seeking this healing or reading, and what work they're willing to do on their end.
