Introduction
Hello, I'm Elizabeth and I'm so excited to work with you! Let me introduce myself: I first started practicing yoga when I was I was teenager, as part of my 15 years of dance training. But it wasn’t until later in life, after leaving the dance world behind, that I began to truly understand and love the practice. During this time being on my mat brought me much needed moments of serenity when everything else felt hard and confusing. I fell in love with the practice and took my first teacher training in 2015. I emerged totally transformed by yoga’s depth and eager to share it with others. I dove in to teaching and have been offering up my services ever since. My teaching grows and changes as I evolve. But what has always been constant is my emphasis on moving in a way that is therapeutic for the body. My teaching style revolves around precise verbal cues that are designed to shift your awareness inward and help you begin to really understand and feel your body. My hope for you, my student, is that this inward focus leads you towards more moments of clarity, peace, and self-understanding. If you're looking to see if I would be a good fit for you, here are a few areas I specialize in: - Yoga for beginners - Yoga for flexibility - Yoga for strength - Yoga for stress relief If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to discuss! - Elizabeth
