What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do not accept insurance, so all fees are out of pocket. Discounts are available for session bundles. Ask me about my free sessions for young leaders. I have just a couple of openings for passionate change-agents who are taking bold actions to embetter the world. Hypnosis can be an extraordinary way to bolster the reach and power of your impact!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The paid consultation will provide information about the methods and offer an light 'dive' into the experience. So, it is both informational and experiential, and should provide some relief as you are learning the technique. In subsequent sessions, we deep dive, using the methods to help you with your particular problems. We can be flexible if you want a specific service. However, my recommendation is typically to start with using EFT for the first 2-3 sessions and then switch to hypnosis for the remainder of our time. Most issues can be resolved within 5 treatment sessions, and for more long-term or complex issues, a substantial discount is available for 10+ session packages.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a Master's degree in Psychology and completed all required coursework for a PhD in the same subject. I am a certified hypnotherapist and will obtain my Masters of Clinical Hypnotherapy certification by an ACHE-accredited institution (a mark of the gold standard and highest program qualification for hypnotherapists). I am a certified Authentic Relating/Art of Circling Practitioner. I have maintained a coaching business for 10 years, counseling and providing EFT sessions to help people recover from traumas, anxiety-related issues, phobias, and so much more.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

From a passionate need to conquer social anxiety and work through my own struggles from childhood, at 17 I began a dedicated search for methods that really worked. I needed to find something that complemented and yet went beyond what I was able to achieve through psychotherapy. I respected therapy very deeply (and went on to a graduate program I respect it so much!), however I needed deeper results. I needed something that dealt with the anxiety as whole body-mind experiences and I needed to get them complete -- transforming my nervous system instead of just managing the anxiety that had always been running in the background. Enter: Energy Psychology and transformational work. When I learned these methods, my self-applied results were unbelievably effective and results came more rapidly than I could explain. The results held. Ever since then, I've been 'obsessed' with helping others who have been struggling to deal with their issues... and then create a life that they love and is vibrant (again, we need to deal with the suffering, but we can aim higher than that!).

What types of customers have you worked with?

I see individuals and couples; older children and adults; multiple genders and sexes; people of various races and ethnicities, and folks from all walks of life, philosophies, and worldviews; people with problems that seek relief, and people who are content but simply want to take things to the next level. I celebrate, serve, and embrace all humans.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Before selecting another pro, you should know what's possible here. Not every issue can be solved in a single session, but fairly routinely I have seen people resolve the emotional residue from the shock of trauma (childhood trauma, trauma that occurred in adulthood) in a single session. Out of single sessions, I have helped people facing big deadlines at work to achieve breakthroughs and dive into daunting projects that they unbudgingly balked at before, and others who were basically content but wanting more joy in their lives leave sessions laughing and twinkling where they had started the hour in a heavy- or merely ho-hum mood. Something to love about this work - certainly what appeals to the rebel in me! - is that it flies in the face of so much of what we've all been taught about what healing and deep change require. We've all learned that healing takes time and endless repetition, that it takes effort. We've learned that performance breakthroughs require a painful, hard-earned squeeze fighting against ourselves and our psychologies, and that it can take a lifetime to let go of hurt or the ways we self-sabotage in relationships or self-destruct in our lifestyles. Not so! Try it on for a moment that all of that is incorrect and, until recently, we've just gone about healing, performance breakthroughs, and re-patterning our deep inner minds in inefficient ways. So much more is possible.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Before seeing hypnotherapists in your area (or any), be sure: (a) to request a brief conversation in advance of a paid session so you can ensure the patient-provider relationship has the right professional 'chemistry.' If the sense of connection and coherence isn't there, the treatment won't be as effective. (b) If you're seeking behavioral modification or anything performance-related, make sure that the therapist and/or hypnotherapist is confident they can help you resolve underlying emotional issues that may be at play in the behavior or habit/pattern you are looking to alter. Without treating the underlying emotional issues, autosuggestion can help for a little while but it is unlikely to stick. (c) When searching for a hypnotherapist, ensure that you are working with someone who has completed a robust program. Hypnotherapists that have graduated from programs with ACHE or NGH accreditation generally have the best training. There are fantastic hypnotherapists who hold no degrees and are self-taught, however you can count on the quality of the training for practitioners that hold a Masters of Clinical Hypnotherapy.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Before talking with professionals about your request, think through your expectations: time commitments (are you intent on hiring them for only one session or are you open to a greater number of sessions) and what kinds of results you'd like to see. To the latter, if you are seeking support for emotional upsets, consider what it would look like in your life if the problem were resolved. For example, if you'd like help with anger issues, you might establish a metric like "my spouse and I recover from most of our arguments without anybody yelling," or, "my children and I end our arguments about their cleaning their rooms in laughter."
