What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We always meet with our clients on-site in order to get an accurate scope of work and precise measurements so we can offer competitive pricing and customized options for each of our client's needs. Our job price minimum is $5,000 and 500 sqft.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

During the initial consultation, we get an in-depth understanding of what your personal taste is and project goals entail. We are experts at outdoor design and can create a custom 3-D rendering that includes the precise measurements and materials you choose so you can see your ideas come to life and know exactly what the finished product will look like. This way we understand our clients and they understand us. It is our desire that clients enjoy the renovation process as much as they love the results and their relationship with our team.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We jumped on the opportunity to create Lonestar Builders, a company that is laser focused on the client experience. We often hear about clients frustrations with previous contractors or home renovation nightmares. Our goal is to provide an optimal client experience so we always meet with potential clients in person to understand their vision and discuss their project. We take the time to get to know each client to establish trust and good communication.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Backyard renovation including 34 x12 salt water Pool and 7x7 Jacuzzi, sand finish poured Concrete 4x2 pads along with 100 oz Olive color Artificial Turf special for kids and pets. Project took 5 months including design and permit process.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First make sure that contractor is licensed, bonded and insured! Also check payment schedule before committing to any project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

1) Are you licensed? 2) Are you insured or bonded? (General liability etc.) 3) References from previous customers that you can talk with. 4) Check the Better Business in your area. Sometimes the contractor will have complaints/compliments. If complaints READ THEM!!!! 5) Ask about budgets from previous jobs: met or went over budget? Why?
