Introduction

With over 10 years of experience in music, I offer a wide range of coaching in all different styles. I specialize in building a healthy foundation of good vocal technique that can be applied in any style. Whether you are just starting out or a working professional singer, I can help! I have a strong passion for developing new artists that are new to performing live and recording in studio. I love to focus on exploring and developing your unique sound and studying the artists you love together to cultivate your own style. Professionally, I am a full time singer/songwriter and session singer. I front a 12 piece event band and perform regularly all over Los Angeles. In 2015, you may have seen me on NBCs “The Voice” as a top 20 finalist. Songwriting and beginner piano lessons also offered. Contact for pricing Monthly packages available.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I require a 24/hr cancellation notice

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First things first, I just want to hear you! I listen to what’s happening for you naturally in your voice, from there we will break down technique, breath work and dig into what we can do to improve our habits as singers.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a BM from Berklee College of Music.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I’ve always been a singer, and I’ve been in lessons myself my whole life. I got started teaching as a part time job in addition to performing in LA. I realized I could really be a good teacher because I’ve experienced SO many great teachers and mentors. I always valued their opinions and guidance throughout my career, I want to pass on what I’ve learned from them!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Professional and aspiring artists, students

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently got into production, learning how to record from home. I decided to make my own vocal reel to have for potential vocal work. I think it’s so important for singers that are in the freelance world to know how to use production software and not rely so heavily on producers to create their work. There is so much to learn but it’s definitely a skill singers need to have!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find someone you can connect with. Singing is so incredibly internalized, you need someone that speaks the same language and can articulate what is going on in the body when singing. Look for someone who wants to help you reach your goals, and develop you as an artist.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
I’d love to know what your goals are
