Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are very fair with our pricing. We know life can be expensive and we want to help people reduce their utility bills without breaking the bank to do it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our process for working with a new customer is painless. We come to your home and provide a free estimate, then discuss options to solve your needs, then schedule an appointment to complete the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
The owners holds a residential builders license and our business has a corporate builders license as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Approximately 10 years ago

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We pride ourselves in working with all types of customers in our service area. However, the majority of our work consists of residential home owners looking to solve a problem.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We had a customer that was struggling with regulating temperature in their home. I arrived on-site, evaluated their attic, then discussed options. They decided to remove the existing insulation (it had quite a bit of past mouse activity in it), then we air sealed the attic, next we added baffles to ensure proper air flow, finally we added blown-in insulation to re-insulate the home. The project went great and gave us a very positive review.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure to tell us what your current problem is. We have a wide variety of solutions and we can taylor these solutions around what issues you’re looking to solve. Also, don’t take a quote over the phone without the contractor showing up in person, make sure the contractor looks at the area. It is amazing how much is found in the attic by spending 15 minutes it in.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The customer should really think about why they are looking for insulation services, is it drafts in the home, is the home hot or cold, is the A/C or furnace running constantly. These questions will help pin point the right long term solution for a customer.
