Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We are an affordable event and party food. Depending on the package you choose their is a fixed rate per person.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
If you choose us for your event or party expect us to contact you almost immediately. Have all the logistics ready so we can give you the quickest simplest consultation to see if we are right for you!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our team is a group of highly motivated and educated individuals. Majority of employees have graduated from college/university. All employees handling food have Florida food handlers certifications and/or food management licensing.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started by a group of friends in 2020 Diggy Dogs was conceived to bring unique, tasty, yet affordable dogs to the Tampa area. Starting with eventing Diggy Dogs have grown into a popular local concession that you can enjoy from Davis Island to Temple Terrace at USF and many place far and in between!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We are very versatile, that being said we have a variety of clients. We currently work with the City of Tampa to provide food to Bayshore Little League, USF food court/sports concessions as well as their satellite campuses, and even large events including Innings Festival, Gasparilla Parade, and other local events.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One recent project we are fond of is our concessions for USF athletics. Currently we are there for baseball/softball/track and hopefully soon to be expanding to serve students and alumni at other sporting events. We have only gotten into it this year, however, we love the atmosphere, the crowd, and USF staff as well as the institution. We have been a partner with USF for over a year and hope to continue!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I always recommend booking early as well as research the vendor you use. Booking early is common sense to make sure your vender has time to prepare in terms of food and logistics. I also say research your vendor because from experience, some venders cancel last minute and those that do have patterns.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
When dealing with food events great questions we have heard but are not limited to: - Is weather going to effect the event, if so is there indoor alternative? - Is there a chance where there are more people than expected? - Are any of your foods allergens/vegan/vegetarian friendly? - Is there enough space for a 10x10 setup or other accommodations for a particular idea/setup? - Do you want an event with custom MTO (made to order food) versus an event where the food is made in particular quantaties?
