What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

A non-refundable deposit is required to lock in your ceremony date. Any balance is due in CASH on the day of your ceremony. We offer Active Military Discounts. THANK YOU for your service! We Proudly support Marriage Equality. A witness can be provided for an additional fee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

What's helpful to me when providing a quote for your ceremony: ~Both you and your fiancee's first and last name ~Name of your Venue & approx. number of people attending ~An email address This allows me to personalize your quote so I can give you the best price possible. ~ What’s included: A planning interview in person, by phone, or by video chat A Pre-written loving ceremony of your choosing or one written by us, especially for you (Religious, Spiritual, or Secular) We complete and return your Marriage License Takes place at your venue Unlimited email or phone questions A lovely Ministry Marriage Certificate suitable for framing A keepsake copy of your marriage ceremony

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

The Rev JC Jenkins, Minister, Officiant, Reiki Master Healer, and Founder of Joyous Journey Celebrations received her ordination through Universal Life Church in Modesto California in 2010. She began her journey as a Reiki Healer in 2009 studying under her Mentor, Master Reverend Debrah Moses-Alamillo, and is 13th generation lineage from Dr. Mikao Usui. Joannie received her Reiki Master Certification in April of 2012 in Dana Point California. Joannie serves as Minister, Officiant, and Celebrant with Joyous Journey Celebrations performing Baptisms, Weddings, Home/Office Blessings, Contrition and Forgiveness/Confession services and End of Life Celebrations. Joyous Journey Celebration is non-denominational and teaches members and everyone we touch to “Add Love in All You Do”. Being Love in all you do and say and feel.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My Ministry mostly focused on Healing. I was asked by a family member to Officiate their wedding, and it brought such joy to my heart I knew I had to continue. Since I perform my healings at no charge to my clients, doing weddings helps me continue my important healing Ministry.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have had the honor to bring together a diverse collection of people in Love. It has included people of many genders, colors, and ethnic backgrounds, in all sorts of mixtures who have come to me consensually and honestly.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Weddings are not "projects" for me. EVERY couple is unique and heartwarming. I put my whole heart into making it the special day every couple dreams of, and enjoy getting to know the unique stories that brought them together.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You need to feel comfortable with the Officiant you're working with. Don't feel pressured into any decision. Remember that the Ceremony is what the day is all about. It's about two people becoming one. THIS will be the moment it all begins.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Have some idea of how your pictured your wedding would always be, and find someone who can make those dreams come true.
